Care for Education organized its first training program for teachers from 5 Mullaitivu schools as a part of Computer Laboratory Development Project. Teachers from Chilawathai TV, Sri Subramaniya Vidyasalai, Mullivaikal GTMS, Kokkuthoduvai GTMS and Visvanather Primary school participated in the program. Training was conducted by resource persons Mr. N. Thileepan and Ms. S. Saranya, and it was coordinated by Care for Education volunteer Eng. T.Nithiananthan through Mullaitivu Zonal Director of Education (ZDE). Agenda for this one day training program included introduction of curriculum designed by Care for Education to teach computer and IT, and discussions on interaction with primary students and evaluation methods. Care for Education thanks Director, Deputy Director, ADE Primary, ISA Primary, principal of Chilawathai TV, resource persons, teachers and all volunteers in making this a success.
