Phase 3 – Completed the Computer Laboratory Development Project

As part of Computer Laboratory Development project about 87 computers (total) were donated by Care for Education to following schools:

  • Mu/Uduppukulam T.V – (7)

  • Mu/Kalaimahal Vidyalayam – (10)
  • Mu/Vedduvaikkal G.T.M.S – (5)
  • Mu/Ampalavan Pokkanai MV – (5)
  • Mu/Udayarkattu Primary – (27)
  • Mu/Thimbili School – (2)
  • Kilinochi/Vattakachi Maha Vidyalayam (3)

Our sincere thanks to Jeyaraj Kulasegaram, from London, for donating 20 computers for this phase. Our thanks also to all our donors from USA and rest of the world who generously donated their money. We extend our sincere thanks to our volunteers in USA & Sri Lanka for their involvement and time. “Home Based Learning” project

Care for Education Volunteers have been implementing “Home Based Learning” project to support primary schools students to improve their English Language Skill. This project is funded by Street Child UK.

Study from Home due to current situation

Due to current circumstances and social distancing guidelines, all the students from Sri Lanka are staying home and trying to learn the school materials on their own. Several initiatives are currently under way through Northern Province Education Department, other non-governmental organizations such as Yarl IT Hub, Noolaham Foundation etc.,
